Greater Pittsburgh Community (Food Bank) is dedicated to feeding people in need with the healthiest foods possible and mobilizing the community to eliminate hunger. With nearly 5,000 volunteers and 400+ partners, having the most advanced relationship management system and product/delivery experience became a necessity. The Food Bank needed a way to track crucial KPI's, optimize the volunteer and partner experience, better manage agency agreements and compliance statuses, and provide greater flexibility and visibility into order delivery.
Prolocity led The Food Bank through a comprehensive discovery process and designed a long-term multi-phase approach bringing to life a foundational platform to serve as a single source of truth for more connected, meaningful experiences with partners and volunteers. To better track compliance and enhance the partner and volunteer experience we leveraged Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Conga Composer + Sign. Sign up and visibility limitations were addressed with Service Cloud with Case Management and Form Assembly. Additionally, Salesforce Field Service was implemented to simplify the complex delivery process and allow for schedule and request visibility.

Valuable information is more accessible, making it easier for partners to maintain their status. Additionally, agencies have access to a portal where they can efficiently manage their needs and update information, including compliance and food safety certifications. The volunteer sign-up process and management system now provides 360° access and reporting anytime, anywhere. Volunteer interest is captured online for individuals and groups, and the enhanced management system allows operations to oversee volunteer inquiries. Furthermore, FSL has totally changed the game for food donor management and delivery. Greater Pittsburg Community (Food Bank) is realizing significant management and product/delivery efficiencies allowing more time to focus on their mission of feeding people in need.
