Spring '26 Release Highlights

The latest Salesforce release, Spring '26, went live for customers in February. With over 800 pages of release notes, it's packed full of new features–here are five that we think will be highly impactful for admins and users:

Health Check now Offers Configurable Scoring and Proactive Notifications

Health check has always been a great tool for making sure your org meets basic security recommendations. In the Spring '26 release, Salesforce is adding new categories of checks for MFA compliance and SAML single sign on configurations. They've also added the ability to customize the scoring model to meet your org's specific needs–for example, if you use a managed package that is incompatible with enabling clickjack protection, you can change the scoring model to ignore that item. And finally, you can now set Health Check to send email notifications when your org's score decreases.

Allow Users to Take Actions from Mobile Push Notifications

This feature is set to enter beta in March, 2026, so be on the lookout. If you've built Custom Notifications in setup that target the Mobile channel, you will be able to create two Mobile Action Groups, which can each contain three actions. When a user receives the push notification, they can tap and hold the message to reveal the action buttons, and then perform the action without opening the app.

See Where Subflows are Used in the Automation App

This one deserves a finally! A major obstacle to breaking business logic into smaller sub flows has been the inability to determine which each Flow is actually used. That's made it difficult to visualize and predict when changes to a sub flow might affect other automations. But now, in the Automation lightning app, Autolaunched Flows have a Usage tab that shows both Flows and Orchestrations where it is used.

Gift Entry Grid Now Supports Multiple Templates

If you enable the Gift Entry Grid for Agentforce Nonprofit (the new name for Nonprofit Cloud), you can now build multiple templates to match specific gift processes. The grid also supports adding and removing columns, and integration of custom Lightning components for activities like payment processing.

New Features for Salesforce Files

There are several great new features in Salesforce Files. The maximum file size has been increased from 2 GB to 10 GB, and Salesforce will now automatically scan uploaded files for common malware. Admins can also grant the new Delete Salesforce Files permission to allow a user to delete a file that she can access. But maybe the best is a beta feature–the ability to trigger Flows on the ContentDocument or ContentVersion objects, which enables automations like sending an email when a file is attached to a record.

That's just a few highlights
