At Prolocity, we believe in celebrating the people who drive our success. This year, our annual Team Member Appreciation Day brought the team together for a day filled with camaraderie, creativity, and a bit of friendly competition.
We kicked off the day with breakfast at the Prolocity headquarters, where the team gathered to fuel up before heading out on a coach bus provided by Queen City Transportation. The bus took us to our first stop: Findlay Market, Ohio's oldest continuously operated public market. It was the perfect backdrop for a meaningful morning of volunteering.
Our team had the opportunity to partner with Findlay Kitchen, a nonprofit culinary incubator located within the Findlay Market district. Findlay Kitchen supports food entrepreneurs by offering licensed, shared-use commercial kitchen space and business resources. During our time at Findlay Kitchen, we worked together to make over 800 sandwiches for Our Daily Bread, a local soup kitchen and social center. It was a rewarding way to give back and support the community.

After volunteering, we had free time to explore the vibrant atmosphere of Findlay Market before regrouping for our next event: a pizza-making competition led by Top Chef contestant Caitlin Young. Hosted at Findlay Kitchen, the competition gave us a chance to unleash our creativity while learning from a culinary expert. Teams crafted their pizzas, adding a fun twist to the day, and later enjoyed their creations alongside appetizers, salads, and drinks—a perfect way to relax and recharge.
Once lunch was complete, the team traveled to Queen City Clay for an afternoon of pottery-making. Queen City Clay, known for its welcoming environment and hands-on workshops, guided us through a pottery class where we tried our hands at wheel throwing. Whether it was a first-time experience or a chance to refine skills, everyone embraced the creative challenge.

The day concluded with a well-deserved happy hour at The Hannaford in Cincinnati’s MainStrasse Village. Known for its craft cocktails and cozy ambiance, The Hannaford was the ideal spot to reflect on the day's activities and toast to the Prolocity team. For our out-of-town team members, luxurious accommodations at Hotel Cincinnati provided the perfect place to rest after a day filled with adventure and laughter. This year’s Team Member Appreciation Day was all about connection—within our team and with the local community. From volunteering to creative workshops, we couldn’t have asked for a better day.
